These are links to a variety of Blogs (WebLogs). Some are just weird. Most are interesting. Personally, I don't have the time to read a lot of Blogs but if you do, these may offer an incentive to start your own blog or are indicative of what not to post for others to see. New ones are being published every day - and many do have interesting info and tips for researchers. Follow me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/CMR_Gen - where I share new queries, Gen Tips & info.
Rutherfords are involved in all areas of politics, religion and are of every creed and culture. If you locate a Blog that should be listed here, let me know. No gay sites are listed here, but they too are out there if you are interested in doing a search. I check these links occasionally - but if you find a broken link I'd like to know so I can update it.
These Sites & Blogs are Rutherford, but not Genealogy related - and I have to add a disclaimer, that having any of the following links here is NOT an endorsement for their content, some of which I find to be over the edge from either a political, religious or artistic viewpoint:
Mark Rutherford was a West Coast freelance writer and member of the CNET Blog Network. I USED to have a link to his postings on CRAVE, a technical site looking at cool, techy gadgets. Tried finding him again - but can't. If he sees this or someone else has a link to his writings - let me know, please.
Ever hear of Wichita Rutherford? Me neither, but then Bluegrass isn't my first choice in Music. http://www.wichitasblog.comHe is a self-proclaimed internet phenomenon. If you have a sense of humor and are not offended by some really crazy YouTube videos, you have to click on his Blog's videos. (& remember, I warned you... a sense of humor is needed).
I had attempted to start Blogging, but it's a very mind & time-consuming thing to keep up and since I do a lot of Social Media for work, it's not what I want to do after work very often.
I admire those bloggers who write daily or weekly, but I don't know that I have enough to say to fill a blog that often, nor have time to write it... BUT as I said, I've given it a shot... Let me know what you think... either to my email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via the blog itself: http://rutherfordgenealogy.blogspot.com/
